Bricklink parts sell-through by part category

Sell-through is an indirect method of estimating the demand for a part based on the percentage of inventory that sells in a given time period.

The formula used here is (quantity of parts sold) divided by (quantity of parts sold + quantity of parts in inventory at the end of the 6-month period) expressed as a percentage

In general, parts with higher sell-through rates are in higher demand and will sell more quickly than parts with lower sell-through. The sell-through rate should be considered along with the total quantities of a specific part, as parts listed in low quantities can have widely variable sell-through rates.
